I LOVED “Ready” and I’d like to think that it was by far my favorite R&B album in 2009.Īs far as his voice, he has WAAAAAYYY too much vibrato. So I’m not sure as to why people continue to think his ENTIRE album is about s**. And that’s about half of the album if not more. Songs like I need a girl, Love Lost, One Love, Holla if you need me, Yo side of the Bed, Say Ahh, Black Roses, Be where you are were NOT s** driven songs. In actually think it was a balance of s** and love/relationships. Well, I’m not a Trey fan anymore, but in his defense “Ready” wasn’t completely about s**. Usher is not in their league pple…….u can neva compare an artistes that have sold over 5omillion copies…….plzzzzzzzzzzz usher here i stand that u pple call flop sold more than 5 million copies worldwide(ok when it comes to usher u can call it flop but if its anyone of those guys i mention is going to be their crowning achievement.) usher is on his way of gettin his tenth nos 1…….with d joint with pitbull n trey song is still fighting to get one and chris is still dying to pass his two number one status with no grammy…….when u mention ush u mention pple like JT, kels……those r 3pple in the same league and yall know that usher still tops that list…………av u all forgotten just after two month of release RvR rounded up ready, graffiti, n love king combine…….i mean the worldwide sales……….plz pple its very insultive when u compare ush wit dis kids….ush is so far bigger than them with everything the guy just finished a tour of asia and am not talking 5000 fans am talking stadium size audience and not just to ordinary fans but to royalties too…….i mean politicians….this is a guy that can enter every continent and hundreds n thousands will be waiting for him at the airports…….for God sake trey success cant even be compared to that of justin beiber,and chris stans stop comparing usher to ur boy but start to look out for that goofy jason derulo guy…….usher is their king….he have stand the test of time 3 decades(having at least one nos i single in one)…….and he is still going strong so please usher is their DADDY…….the KING OF RNB. There is something i still dont understand…….pls stop bringing ushers name when u mention artistes like trey, chris, mario, omari etc. You would think someone from his camp would have caught that from a PR/AR standpoint! That cover made it DIFFICULT for a man to purchase…S** DOESNT always sell when it comes to male artist. #SideNote: I think that Trey would have been Platinum by now if he had a different album cover for Ready. Usher is Platinum already, Jay -Z double plat, A Keys etc….You have to MAKE people WANT to go get your stuff! And judgeing by this track listing they should have called this album “Ready 2 flopp.0”Īnd for the person that said that records are’nt selling anymore.
(BIG music fan) *Good and Bad*.But I think they RUSHED this album out…they needed to re group and take a diffrent approach. I have his albums AND I have been to his shows.
